The Manual Handling course will be in accordance with the manual handling Operations Regulations 1992 as amended in 2002.

The Manual Handling course provides an effective means of ensuring that the learner is aware of their responsibilities and understand the principles of the safe moving and lifting of a load. Manual handling accidents account for more than one third of all accidents reported each year to the enforcing authorities.
